San Diego MTS CEO Paul Jablonski Dies

"We are shocked and saddened about the passing of Paul," MTS Board Chair and San Diego County Supervisor Nathan Fletcher said. "He was a good man who not only ran a great agency, but was a respected national transit industry leader."

"The entire MTS family is grieving right now, and our thoughts and prayers go out to Paul's family,"
Fletcher said.

Cause of death? He was 67. I'm 67. Going outside these days scares the $hit out of me.

Everything says that he died suddenly on Sunday, so it was probably his heart.

That seems to be the cause of a lot deaths lately. MTS Ridership has improved a lot over his tenure...RIP.

I lost my insurance rep to a heart attack. He was a good friend and a healthy 59. Went jogging for lunch one day. Came back to the office and looked like a ghost. That was it. He had a heart attack. If you're going to go, I guess it's best to go quickly.
