Now that the State/County have allowed for the reopening of gyms in SD County, can we pivot this thread to info on specific gyms and when they are reopening?

Of the gyms I've been watching, none has announced reopening plans yet. Will post when I hear.

Yes that was actually my goal as well, finding open gyms...

I wonder how many people will be quitting the old 24 hr? Scheduled time slots of 1 hour...only allowed once per day. For some of the gym rats this will be a big turn off.

How many people actually go more than once a day?

Honestly, I love the one hour block and I hope my gym has the same set-up. You can get plenty of things done in one hour if you are focusing on your actual workout.

.

People who do split routines. Resistance training early in the day and cardio at night.

I do know what he means. Some people go to the gym and hang out there for hours. They are serious, work hard, but it's their life. Personally, I'll be glad to get in and out in an hour and have a smaller crowd.

Depends on the gym. When I first moved here I had to transfer to a JL affiliate off CL drive and they had a dry sauna. Every day a bunch of retired dudes would hang out in the locker room/sauna for hours a day naked. I chose to change in the truck and go home to shower.

going forward, avoiding the locker room for vehicle & home will be way to go until vaccine with added benefit avoiding naked old people; it may also be quicker & more time efficient
