Why is it always that truck drivers seem to be such jerks on the road? I swear, 9 out 10 times when I see a bad reckless driver, it's usually a truck driver.

They try awfully hard to pass me in my 328i 2 door coupe with pedal shifters

In order what I see doing stupid stuff is in order:

Electrics - Have to do 80
Small, very small cars - haul butt around 25 mph type roads
Small performance cars - weave in and out no signal
Larger performance cars - no speed limit also weaving
Then trucks - tailgate

I've seen butt-heads on the road all the way around...even pedestrians, motorcyclists and bicyclists.

Same accident happened to me, but on a city street coming up to a red light. My dashcam caught everything. I sent the video to my insurance adjuster and she immediately waived my deductible and told me that all repair expenses are covered. Was told that they would go after the offender's insurance company. Of course, they never told me the end result.

That day, the dashcam paid for itself. I only have a front-facing camera because I can't figure how to power a rear-facing camera and also, the rear windows are tinted.

Just an update, El Cajon PD called me to verify the video. They caught the driver. Said he basically admitted to everything but they'd still keep my info in case the DA needs it.
