I see some lakes like:

Lake hodges
San Vincente
Lake Wohlford

Can you waterski on any of these or others in the SD area
or are they all closed off as drinking supplies???

Thanks!

Lake Hodges doesn't always have water in it... so I really don't know how it works as to boating since in recent years it's been dry, and then filed up rather quickly last year (supposedly made a big stink as all the scrub that grew under the waterline decayed).

Ok, I should ask how far and where is the closest "Non-Salt" water place to waterski?

The closest freshwater lakes that allow waterskiing are the El Capitan Reservior and San Vicente Reservior. Lake Skinner near Temecula is also an option. I had friends that used to rave about skiing on the Colorado River at Lake Havasu.

Here's a link to the local waterskiing locales Waterskiing | Water Department

Lake Elsinore.

Lake Arrowhead

BigBear Lake

Farther North is Lake Castaic

Now, if Lagoons are on your radar, then Agua Hedionda has homes/condos/water craft slips included. (It is salt water.)

This is the only inland salt water lagoon in the State that allows recreation.
