If I can't find an appt before March 16, I'm just going to show up at Petco on my day off, and they should be able to take me because my first one was on February 6, so it'll be 30 days on Saturday.

Not sure I trust that "the longer between the two shots, the better." Could be a bad excuse, covering their a$$es. I was a skeptic before all this happened. Trusting your Govt usually turns out bad so you are smart to be a skeptic.

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.

I'm a Reagan democrat fan boy but that quote misleads the dumb thinking an efficient government is still bad. The dumb include the January 6 insurrectionists

My wife and I are in a similar situation. Our first shots were 2/5. Our second shot is now scheduled for 3/15. We still fall within the maximum time between Moderna shots IF we are not rescheduled again.

I'm a skeptic by nature but I really think UCSD Health is being honest with us. They just don't have a sufficient supply of the Moderna vaccine and they are working overtime to make the best use of the vaccine supply they do have.

So the first shot seems, or seemed to be easy to get, the second shot is becoming harder, and harder to get.
They really shouldn't of opened up Teir 1b, police Firefighters and Educators till they Finished up 1a
This is a perfect example on why not to rush this.

Here's where I check to see what the story is with UCSD. It sounds like anyone with a scheduled second shot should be OK. Unless a sinkhole opens in the parking lot...

There are a lot of FAQ's for Petco down the page.

I had an appt at Vons Midway for my 2nd shot March 2, that was cancelled. They said they would reschedule. So far nothing. I need to get done no later than March 16. It was Moderna of course. This is crazy.

With two days of rain coming up, there is a high probability of Petco rescheduling 2nd shots, again. Those of you who have 2nd shot Petco appointments around March 15-20, could you please post here if you're being bumped again? I have a number of other appointments lined up, awaiting my 2nd shot, and I'm looking at perhaps having to reschedule across the board.

I got mine at CVS in Vista. You can go online and get appointments, but you have to be fast. It was the J&J (one shot deal).
