I work as an independent college instructor, and I just received my schedule for the Spring 2022 semester. I have what could be a fairly tight turnaround where I'll need to be driving up the 15 to San Marcos starting slightly before 4 pm.

How helpful is FasTrack in getting up the 15 versus the regular lanes on average? Are there times when those lanes are just as congested as the regular lanes? I've been driving to Rancho Bernardo this semester and up until this week, I was having no problems, but this past week it was like the bad old days. Even saving five minutes could be worth it for me.

I used the hell out of my transponder! Problem is, when the 15 gets really bad, they turn on the "HOV only" sign. You'll still see half the cars in there with a single person. It's a gamble, but I never got popped all the times there was no way I was going to sit in a sea of red lights.
