I looked at your 10 day forecast. It looks like you are not having June Gloom this year?? Is this true?

Forecasts in San Diego aren't worth anything. Yesterday for example, I looked at my forecast and saw sun, and then it was somewhat cloudy/very cloudy downtown for the majority of the day. Today's pretty sunny, though, so it may be a little lighter this year... but as I always have to tell myself when I look at a San Diego forecast... I'll believe it when I see it.

SD forecasts suck.I remember back in 97.Last week of school and a field trip to Downtown."Sunny and warm around 79 along the coast".What did we get?Rain, winds around 25 MPH,hail and localized flooding.Imagine like 100 fifth graders in shorts, flip flops, and some of us without shirts on getting hit hard with inclement weather.Sure it looked good around 745AM but by 1230PM it came from the West into San Diego.I never watch the weather here.TWC is hardly wrong but all the local people from ch.5-11 all are garbage.

I love the cooler weather in June. My friend in D.C. area is telling me how horribly hot it is right now (around 100 degrees and humid).

I actually like visiting during June Gloom because it is a nice reprieve from 100+ weather here in Bakersfield. But I visited on Friday and it was terrible. I had to go on a campus tour at USD and it was over 80, really sunny and the whole group had to walk for about an hour and a half in the heat. It was miserable...

Too bad you weren't visiting this week. It has been in the low 70's. Up to 80 is nice, after that forget it. Too hot! (unless at the beach).

Dang it! I can't believe I chose the one weekend in June that was probably the hottest.

The persistent June Gloom has been kept under control so far, because I stick a pin in my June Gloom voodoo doll everytime I think I see a cloud in the sky...lol

Yep I am in DC. It's super hot, but humidity actually ain't too bad...it's worse in August and late summer.
