Hi all! I am so glad to have found this forum; I appreciate the honest responses to other threads that have been posted, and am hoping to receive the same level of honesty from you veteran members. My partner and I are planning to move to NP, and found a doll of an apartment around the Lincoln/Hamilton area that we want to bite on. I have merely a general understanding of the neighborhoods in NP and wanted to gain some insight from those that know the area much better. Is this area notorious for anything - albeit good or bad? I'm a big fan of sitting on my patio at night complete with laptop and wine and wondering if this particular area will allow for such a small luxury? I've read some other threads that said: good by day, but no real mention of what by night... does anyone live (or know of someone) that lives in the area that can offer a true birds eye perspective? Thanks so much!!!

I think it depends on the individual (a single woman with kids versus a couple guys sharing a place) and where they are coming from (southeast san diego versus university city) but generally speaking, I would agree with the "ok by day" crowd.

Any words of advice for the area between Park and the 805, and University to Lincoln?

It's fine, lots of apartment complexes over there. Not the nicest area but not bad either.
