Hi, I am living in england currently but planning or about to move to the U.S. next year.

I am having second thoughts of moving but i dont want to miss opportunity in going to the U.S.

We are planning to go to california but no specific place yet.

I will be going there with my family with an immigrant visa sponsored by my employer...my job will be a nurse.

could you please give me any ideas on how to live there compared to living here in england. My concerns is that i have a daughter 10year old with a very severe learning disabilities- with austistic spectrum disorder.
do you think its worth moving there knowing that my daughter is disabled.

thanks.

We are planning that when we go there, i will be the one only whose going to work and that my husband will be athomedad to look after the kids. I have 3 kids-10yearold, 9 year old, and 1 year old...can we afford with that setup.

thanks very much and i hope that i could get more information.

I know there are some places in Orange County that provide autism therapy. I don't know what it entails, only that my sister applied for a position there. If you can get jobs and make a living, it could be a wonderful opportunity. A lot is cheaper here than in England, but then George Washington's face on the dollar isn't worth nearly as much as Her Majesty on the pound. Keep us posted as you make your decisions
