We live in zip 92154.

Our water bill is split between a private company and that one is 22.00 monthly.

The city water bill is 20.00 monthly.

Not too bad.

Our utility bill is 66.00 a month and trash service is paid via property taxes.

But this is for a family of 2 and we are FRUGAL with our water consumption!

We have grass, but, we do not water it.

It thrives on the next door neighbor watering his grass... same for the banana trees and palms.

Can't explain it. We've been here for eight months now and still haven't had a water bill over $25. We're Otay Water District and have both dish and clothes washers. No pool and as I said, desert landscaping that requires hardly any water. Maybe we'll get hit with something big in the new year, but they know that we're using water now and this is what they are charging us!
