^ looks like New Encinitas or Carmel Valley.
This is classic tract homogenous tract housing look - new but bland including uniform beige colors - often unnecessary large size homes.
I would think the older more heterogenous neighborhoods may have more of a community feel, hanging on front porch, walkability, though these new neighborhoods often have sidewalks, lots of kids, and good schools.

I thing Moving Aloha is in Eastlake/Otay Ranch.. but this really could be a number of neighborhoods in Southern California. It looks just like my brother in law's neighborhood up in Winchester CA.

Hey guys! I took those pictures in Otay Ranch (Eastlake) near Veterans Elementary. It's quite lovely over there, but getting more and more congested.

We spent a few days at the beach during the heatwave back in May. The Del Mar Beach on Camp Pendleton was anywhere from 93-100F at that time, and the ocean was about 71F, having warmed up from the extreme heat of the air. At times, the water looked super clear.

The fires may be terrible, but the smoke from it does make for beautiful sunsets.
