Helloha everyone,
My name is Darin, I'm 17, from south dakota...
My parents are letting fly out to San Diego this summer (ALONE) to see a really good friend of mine, I was just wondering how old you have to be to fly alone with no parents, how much a round trip airline ticket costs, when the best time in the summer would be to fly out there, how much the whole trip in might cost? (so I have an idea of the amount of money I need to bring)
I was also wondering since I'm 17 if I could have her parents get me a hotel room under their name and I could stay in it, is that at all possible or not??

I really hope everything works out well, please give me some good advice everyone, I reallly need it so I can see if its possible for me to go there or not..

Thanks everyone!

There are no age restrictions, I flew to the British Virgin Islands when I was 16 and Costa Rica when I was 17 by myself.

It really depends on how long you're staying here. It's pretty expensive, so it would be best to play it safe and bring more than you need. It also depends on your spending habits. For a flight, see if south west flies that route.

What part of San Diego are you going to?
