Hi. I am a huge fan of Santa Monica College. I loved the location, the professors and the overall vibe was excellent. However, I am considering moving to San Diego but I haven't a clue about the community colleges.
I am not a slacker and like learning from brillant, yet funky type professors. Any suggestions? Thanks!

My overall favorite professor currently teaches at both SDSU and Mesa.

I'd say MiraCosta, as well, but with one big caviot and some hesitation. The college has two campuses: The main campus in Oceanside and the San Elijo Campus in Cardiff. I think you'd enjoy the coastal location, people, and laid-back vibe at San Elijo, but not all the courses are offered there and you'd most likely have to go for some classes to the Oceanside campus, which IMHO isn't as cool a San Elijo.
