Agreed. The Bros have gone from a variant of the then-dominant surfer / skater culture of the late 90's / early 2k's to a niche subculture that's really about moto-x and off-roading. I live in Lakeside/El Cajon, the Bro's are alive and well out here in East County. We've lived out here for 3 years and this is our first East County experience. Its definitely a different culture than our previous neighborhoods or Clairemont, Tierrasanta, and Downtown studio living. When we first moved out here, I jokingly told my wife, "Boy, the white people sure seem different out here than in the city of San Diego."
