oh im not comparing anything, just dont tell me it doesn't exist at all. Prejudice is a result of ignorance and whether people want to believe it or not there's alot of people in this country who would rather stay ignorant instead of opening theirselves up to different cultures. My thing is IT EXISTS, dont deny it. And your absolutely right about racism being taught, me and my coworker were just talking about this the other day

If you have lived in SoCal in the last 5-10 years you have seen a "BRO".sdlife619's post was right on. The phenomenon rose with Bryan Deagan of the Metal Militia "Dirt Bikers" for the X-Games and such...

Here is what a bro would look like PAY ATTENTION VERY DANGEROUS! (muy dangeroso)

Q: What do bros like and dislike?
A:
The Bro like a limited number of things, including:
~ Trucks
~ Dirt Bikes
~Beer
~Girls
~Fighting.
~Whatever rap or hardcore music is popular at the moment (because listening to cool music makes YOU cool too.)
~Fighting while drunk on top of dirt bikes balanced on trucks with girls watching and Bullet for my Valentine playing in the background.

The Bro also has several dislikes, including:
~Books
~Fuel efficient cars
~Complete sentences
~Time spent not fighting

Q: How should I handle encounters with bros?
A:
When approaching a bro, you have to have use caution, as they are always looking for a reason to fight. Scientists have discovered that they have a brain defect that leads them to believe that if they disagree with someone, beating him up proves they were right the whole time.

Ha Ha Ha!! This thread is hilarious! These guys just don't get it do they? I lived in the Sacramento area for a few years and they definitely have the bro scene there as well, especially in the foothills (Placer County) Also lived in Santa Cruz and found the same thing. The Santa Cruz Bros are a little different. The SC bros try so hard to be the spitting image of so cal bros, but they're quick to be hardcore in their constant efforts to put down So Cal. "Nor Cal" is so much better! So Cal is just a bunch of cooks! HA Ha Ha LMAO I wish someone would start a thread on some of the clowns up here in the Bay area. We have the Asian version of bros here in the Bay area. The hardcore asians with tricked out cars all zoned out on Hip hop acting so "gangsta". Does anyone have pictures of little hard core Ming posting a stance next to the tricked out 98 Civic with a smoke dangling out of his mouth? I dont know what worse, please chime in if you experienced the Bay Area. It's all over the U.S., but it sure is fun to exploit the circus we have here in California.

Oh I have seen plenty of Asian "bros" up there in the Bay too especially around Daly City. It's funny because people think Asians are a bunch of do gooders but they can act just as ridiculous.

Those Asian bro's are a lot more dangerous on the road too compared to the lifted-truck SoCal ones. I've had seen and have dealt with some crazy gangsta Asian drivers more than once on my visits back home.

I'm going to be straight.. Lets see the bros live out in East County and North County. They aren't much but a teen style. Not many are racist too, by the way.

They been sporting dickies, and long socks, and short to shaved heads. With many acually dressing very vato or cholo. They hang it with a lot of Mexicans, too. They shop in stores like Marios, and listen to mostly metal and rap music

I don't hang with them though I just lived out there long enough to get the image.
