It wont be easy to get a work permit here now. H1 and L1 visa's seem out of the question. TN visa is very unlikely at the moment.

But if there is a will, I am sure there is a way, like:

1. Start a tourism business in Canada that specializes in California (that way maybe you travel here often and have an office in the US).

2. Get into Hotel Management, take a few more college courses, even try to get a scholarship into a US university

3. Marry a US citizen (for the right reasons of course).

Amber, read all the threads here about kids with college degrees that can not even find min wage jobs or not much more. Stay where you are for the next few years.
