Hi you all,

I lived out in San Diego for a couple years. That was about 10 years ago and I'm 35 now. The embarrassing thing is, I loved Tijuana, I had some of the funnest nights of my life there. I know it's regarded as an 18 and up party place, but for the people my age and older, do you still go there to party?

I heard their traffic slowed down a lot after the mandatory passport went into effect. I remember as a kid my family visiting my aunt in SD and going over into Tijuana for the day. You could buy all kinds of well crafted leather and pottery. Honestly at 26y/o I don't have a passport (I really need to get one).

They now have a passport card for your wallet that is cheaper to buy. It is not good for flying to Europe, only for crossing to Canada or Mexico.

I bought mine last year, and beat out all the procrastinators. I filled out the form online, printed it out, got my photos taken, and took everything needed to the County Administration Building. I got it in two weeks. The cost: $45 for a ten year passportcard.
