First let me say, I'm so glad I found this place!
I've been reading everything I can, lots of
information.

After a few weeks of debating over San Francisco
& San Diego I've decided to move to SD next July.
(specifically the La Jolla area.)

I have two main questions relating to:

#1 Area/Neighborhood:

I work from home, and I'm earning around $7000
per month right now. Do you think this would be
enough to live a decent lifestyle here? I plan on
renting for the 1st year, before I decide to buy
property.

Are there any other beach area's that are similar
to La Jolla? I'd like to check out at least 2 other
decent coastal area's.

I'm looking for a safe middle class to upper class
neighborhood near the beach (where I can surf).

Ultimately I'd like to stay under $2000 rent, but
am willing to go up to $2500 if I need to.

#2 How is singles life?

I'm a single (straight) male, about to turn 25.
I don't party too much, but I do like to go
out a lot. I guess you could say I'm in between
the "early twenties lifestyle" - and the "lets
settle down, meet someone, and start a family"
thing.

Also, is it easy to meet people? I'll probably
be using meetup.com a lot my first couple months.

Anyway. I've read a bunch of posts regarding these
things, but I'd appreciate a fresh insight for
my particular situation/questions.

That's all I can think of for now.

- Scott

What do you do that earns you $7000 a month from home? How do I start?

@jpreed

I do a few different things. Mainly niche marketing,
but I dabble in some other things as well.

I'm not sure if I can give out sites her, so I wont.
But here's a hint:

I started in 2007 after I went through something
called the "Thirty Day Challenge" put on by a
guy from Australia named Ed Dale. Its a free
introduction into internet marketing. And the goal
is to teach you how to make your first $1 online.

That's the best thing I can recommend and I don't
get anything from referring people to it.

Anyway. I'd start there, like I did.
