Thanks
We are just out to have fun.
When Miley showed up in Columbus we went to see her. More for her and the dog's sake than ours. She appreciated the down time. Evidently 98% of the job is boredom. I have no desire to trade.

Plus The Mouse put a lot of restrictions on his appearences and has to approve each one. So far he's done three 'stray friendly dog' apperances with celebrities. Have to wait at least a year between each one otherwise people will piece it together.

After lots of checking on internet , I have basically narrowed it down to Del Mar as well. They re sell fairly well there I've noticed and beachfront is dearest compared to most in Solcal. I am looking close in to the beach and am looking forward to the new life, hopefully without too many probs. Reading this thread was a uplift for the day as I have never been to Socal, hate flighing, dislike hotel rooms and don't like wasting agents time. So, many thanks at least for the good hands on overview !

We moved to Del Mar 18 months ago and really enjoy it. We live on the canyon so a little east of where you are wanting. Your expectations seem realistic. And yes, coming from someone who isn't a dog owner, Del Mar is EXTREMELY dog friendly. The only place they say no dogs is on the school properties. The worst to be said about the downtown and beach is that parking is not the greatest. But you can't beat the weather. Best of luck to you.
