There's nowhere to park for free. You'll have to park in a lot, and most of them have different rates. I don't know of any lots that have 24 hour attendants, though. You're better off not leaving your car downtown.

There's cruise ship parking at the NW corner of W Broadway and Pacific Coast Hwy. It's something like $10 a day.

What do you have against the trolley? Personally, I would leave my car at home and take a bus and trolley.

The parking lots near the airport are there expressly for people who want to leave a car for several days - for about $10 a day.

Some people just straight up don't like it.Almost like a last resort type of thing.The best thing to do is have someone pick you up and drop you off in this situation if you are not a fan of MTS or the trolley.
