Personally I think the area is slightly iffy.Gangs and general crime are the two problems for that area but from what I see and remember that side of the street is ok.Still has it's problems. It's once you cross Genesee Ave its very bad.One of the worst parts in the county in my book.(Area around Linda V Community Park.)I played a 3 hour touch football game with my friends and co workers and I saw way too much stuff that it even scared me!!!And minor crime or fights don't bother me.But better than other parts.Just stay away from the area SW of Genesee Ave/Linda V Road

I live in Clairemont, and play tennis at Linda Vista Park, which is SW of Genesee Ave and LV Rd. There are some gang types in the area, but it doesn't feel threatening. I personally wouldn't live there because it has no appeal to me. It feels isolated and run down. I'm usually there during daytime, so not sure what nightime is like.

If it is North of Gennesee than don't worry. The neighbors seem to look out for each other. S of Gennesee? That's a whole nother ball game. High crime stats and documented gangs. It doesn't get better until you are almost to USD down LV road.

Thank you for reply.

That's a relief a little bit. I just will keep away from the area around Gennesse Ave,
and around the park.

I appreciate to sharing your information.
