Military Family Moving to San Diego, Need help finding apt who allow Large Dog..anyone Help :( (real estate)

My husband and I are moving to San Diego to the Naval Base. I am having a hard time finding a apartment/Townhome who will allow a Large 50lb Siberian Husky (He is well tarined). I would like to stay with in 20miles from the base, with Rent to be no more then $1,400.00. If anyone knows of a place, please let me know. I have to find a place online and before we get there and its so hard..I dont understand why San Diego does not allow my breed of dog

You need to specify which Naval Base. There are several, and are in different areas of San Diego. I doubt if you'll be able to find a place online before you arrive. You should be able to stay on base while you look, and base housing has information that will help you. That's their job.

you should check out La Mirage
I think you can find it on google under myequityapartments or something like that
rent depends on how many rooms but it's typically between 900-1600, but you will need to pay a dog deposit
they are located right by Qualcomm Stadium
it's about 20-30 minutes to the main Navy base on 32nd Street

I live in Rancho Penasquitos and I know there are a bunch of 2 br/1 bath and 2 bath condos (800-1100 sf) in my neighborhood that are for rent in the $1100 range. There are no large pet restrictions since many people have large dogs. Look up Penasquitos Villas in the 92129 zip code.

As of today, I saw at least 2-3 signs on peoples condos which are located on Via Rimini or Via San Marco.

If your dead set on Apartment check forrent.com, you can specify military friedly or pet friendly. I would suggest craigslist though, you can almost never go wrong.
