Coronado website: http://www.coronado.ca.us/

Some good realty search websites for San Diego:
REALTOR.com - Real Estate Listings & Homes For Sale (http://www.realtor.com - broken link)
HomePages - Welcome to the Neighborhood
ZipRealty Real Estate -- Homes for sale and local real estate agents

Coronado is hugely expensive and most places are small with little/no yard. It's an amazing place to live though if you can swing it.

You will not find a place anywhere in San Diego with a couple of acres for under a million dollars. Most places are on small lots - as small as they can legally build them.

The area around 32nd Street Naval base is so dangerous that it's actually off limits for military folks (go figure). If you post what command you're going to (assuming you're in the Navy and that's why you're asking about location of the bases), somebody on this forum will certainly know exactly where you'll be stationed. North Island (Coronado), 32nd Street, Point Loma or Miramar - they're scattered all over San Diego and make a big difference with where you'd want to live.

I don't think it's that dangerous that military can't go into the area. They probably just get a heads up.

By the way, Miramar isn't Navy anymore.

I do have the money to purchase a house, anyone know a good site to look for homes for sale in Coronado??? I really dont want an older home, 5 years old is ok but not anything older, 3 bedrooms 2 baths, with a pool on a few acres would suit me very well..thanks to all

Folks we've been had... this is obviously a bogus thread. Oh well, it happens to us all. Though this one wasn't as funny as the one with the guy asking if Compton was a nice place to move to.
