Maybe they're angry about Proposition 8

Instead of trying to find a Christian school that will abandoned the biblical truths that Jesus is God, and that her salvation is a gift not based on works, why not find her an eucumenical school that will blend all faiths (not a recommendation from my heart as this will confuse the poor child further than she must already be), but one that will please you.

Christian schools are CHRISTIAN schools, and it is not ok for them to abandon sound doctrine to please the community. Most will only accept a student if one of the parents is a professing believer. Please do not expect them to aquiese to things that are not biblically sound. It sounds like since your husband is Catholic (though I personally don't believe that is Christian) they should accept your daughter under the "one parent" requirement, but maybe they think as I do.

Good luck with your search as I'm seaching for one in San Diego TOO. From the sound of your post I'll like what I see : )

Chrisianity is not a religion, it is a personal relationship with a living God.

And, I can't help but notice the conradiction/double standard/hypocrisy in your post. You call others bigotted, yet are bigotted YOURSELF towards THEM by judging them for who THEY are. How odd.

You're quoting a post from 2 years ago, FYI.

I think the definition on Wikipedia is pretty good...

Quote:
A Christian is a person who adheres to Christianity, an Abrahamic, monotheistic religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth as recorded in the Canonical gospels and the letters of the New Testament.
So by definition, Catholics are most definitely Christians!

I know this is an old thread, but I wonder if the OP ever checked out Catholic schools? When I was growing up I had lots of friends who went to the local Catholic school, and they all got a great education.
