Hi all!

I've been a lurker on this thread forever, and I've learned a whole lot about San Diego, where to live, etc. So thanks for all of your help, even if you didn't know you were giving it!

I wanted to know if there was anyone here who lived in Coronado, and if so, what cell phone service do you use? We live in the Cays and we currently have Verizon, but the service is really crappy, we get dropped calls constantly, and I can barely use my phone in the home. We're looking into other plans, but I wanted to try and get some feedback from others who are actually in the area before I make any decisions.

Thanks in advance.

My Verizon barely works at all by Country Club Estates (just under the mil base near the beach) at my friends house. iPhone (ATT) works better but not great. I just bought a house there so we are also wondering which phone will make the grade, our house is south of Orange Ave, so we might be ok...

Look on the T-Mobile website. They have a map where you can put in an address, and it will tell you how good the service is in that location. It goes from pale green in shades all the way up to dark green being the best. I have T-Mobile and have no problems with it.

Hi, I was the OP of this thread. At the time we lived in the Cays, and found that TMobile was the worst, then ATT, and Verizon and Sprint were pretty much tied as far as calls go, but our data plans worked much better with Sprint.

Sprint was also cheaper, so that's what we went with.
