I am guessing someone had to get down there pretty early in the morning to get those photos. The bums don't let aluminum cans lay around long.

I was down there at 1:00 PM Monday afternoon and there was no sign of the party at all.

How much is still laying out in the water is another topic entirely. If they keep this up I suspect bottles will be washing up onto shore for a long time.

It's funny how the media always has to get down there at the crack of dawn to get their sensationalistic photos to scare all the suburbanites b/c they know the mess will be gone by noon. I could not believe the overzealous media coverage of this event this time around. Come on, is this really the TOP story in all of SD? Top news story on all the news programs and front page of the U-T. It's amazes me the big deal some people make out these relatively insignificant events. This is maybe one to three times a year and people act like the sky is falling. A more inefficient, poorer New Orleans can handle 2+ weeks of Mardi Gras parades and the huge mess it makes but some people in SD can't even handle one event with less than 5,000 people. Some people in this city are the biggest whiners and pansies.

You also have to remember, this is San Diego not New Orleans.

San Diego= Image is everything

New Orleans= Image? What image?
