Well I guess that's "the big one" ... We were lucky that it was at such a large depth (20 miles) and well away from major cities. 6.9 is almost the same magnitude as the one in Haiti.

Could be some damage in Mexicali and El Centro.

And to think, my first reaction was to blame my upstairs neighbors for their daily activities. And it turned out to be a real earthquake this time!

3.8 at 16:19 near Pine Valley
