Never been in Pinnacle, but it looks like a nice building. An advantage of living there would be the views of the bay if you are high enough. Since it's one of the nicer buildings, I bed most of the residents will be much older than you, so that's something to consider. It's less grungy than EV and mostly built-up.

EV on the other hand is rougher around the edges, has more lofts, younger, cooler places to hang out (though it's not far from the Marina). Everyone there seems to have a dog. The ballpark is there so you will be dealing with more traffic and people. My friend owns a cool loft at Fahrenheit and he loves it. Soon, the pedestrian bridge will be finished and you will be able to walk to the bay easily.

You really should stay in a downtown hotel and walk both areas during the day/night and on weekends. Good luck.

yeah i picked marina because theres a lot more upscale buildings here.. and yes the crowd is older, but i kinda like peace and quiet.. i dont know if i want to live next to the ball park. i dont even watch baseball so i dont see the pro of living next to the stadium
