Hi there - so my landlord has not been paying the mortgage and is in pre-foreclosure

We, therefore, have to move - we are looking for a duplex or single family home with 2 bedrooms and a fenced yard (we have two housebroken small dogs - each one under 20 lbs.)

With the economy the way it has been - our credit is little wrecked but we have a letter of reference from our landlord - we've been there 1.5 years.

Does anybody know where we might find what we're looking for.

I'm interested to hear anything you have to offer. Thanks.

What part of town do you work in? What's your rental budget?

Also, start checking out Craigslist.

This just happened to my DS. He was living in a 3 bedroom condo in the Clairmont section. He received a letter in the mail about his rights when the property goes into foreclosure ... he said to himself "HUH" ... called his landlord many times with no return call he just decided before the bank changes the locks on the condo to start looking.

CRAIGLIST!!!

Now deciding to move on and live with other buddies, DS + buddies got a FAB 3 bedroom apt in La Jolla, 2 blocks from the beach right in his exact price range.

Monday, the other 2 roomies that wanted to stay in the condo got a notice on the door that they have 30 days left in the condo.

Good Luck, BKN!!!
