Don't care about maps. I've lived or spent significant amounts of time in all 4 places. Anyone who has spent time in these places would agree.

That's only really during a few weeks of the year. There's plenty of places where it's like that (and with higher temperatures) for months on end.

Yes, we have humidity here, occasionally. NO, it's not like living in the South where you're sweating through your clothes at least half the year.

No it isn't. It's a coastal steppe with an arid or semi-arid mediterranean climate (depending on how close you are to the ocean). It has neither the humidity of Hawaii or Florida nor the aridity of the inland southwest.

Default SD weather

Thank you very much for all the info. Our trip is now planned and booked to 7/2-7/6 We will be coming from 5 days in Disney. We need the relax time with our 4 kidos. I'll start researching the 4th of July fireworks recommended here. I'm so excited!!!
San Diego is a very beautiful city...if money was not an option, we would move now. Thanks for the info on the jobs.

There may be no fireworks on the bay this year, though. There's an environmental group protesting them.

And I'd be shocked if there weren't also fireworks at the Del Mar Fair and other coastal locations.
That said, since this thread is about "San Diego Weather," can we all just agree that it is a freaking gorgeous day today? Days like today remind we why I work so hard and pay so much to live here.
