Hi, I am writing an article about day trip ideas around San Francisco and have
compiled the following list of day trip destinations around the San Franciscion area.

Pretty comprehensive list! I assume this is family-oriented?

I would take Yosemite off the list, as I think most people would consider it too far for a day trip. I also don't know how comprehensive you want to be, but you may want to add the Chabot Space & Science Center, Lawrence Hall of Science, and the San Jose Children's Discovery Museum. You could also add Angel Island.

Add UC Berkeley and Stanford (you listed UC Santa Cruz)

I think Ukiah and the redwoods in Mendocino county are too far away for a day trip. But you can add Clear Lake which is about as far as Ukiah, alos the wineries in the Alexander Valley.
