According to the news, this is going to be one crazy weekend in SF with people coming into SF en masse for the Giants vs Braves and Fleet Week. More than a million people will head to San Francisco. "Most hotels are already booked through the weekend and it will be the city's biggest boost to tourism since 2003."

The City Prepares for Big Weekend | NBC Bay Area

The weather should be nice too with sunshine and temps in low 70s.

for those thinking about driving into SF this weekend SUNDAY will probably be the worst traffic jams in the city because of Fleet week, Sunday is the busiest day because of the big air show

dont even bother going unless you want to get stuck in traffic for hours trying to leave the city, it gets really bad

take BART into the city if possible

Too bad the Sunday game is in Atlanta - would have been cool to have a Game 3 periodically buzzed by Blue Angels.

Figures, I'm coming to San Francisco for a wedding this weekend. Thank goodness I'm flying in Friday and not Saturday. I'm so looking forward to it though, it can't be any more crowded than NYC, lol.

Even on the crowdiest day in SF still won't match NYC. The weather this week is very comfortable. Just bring a light jacket to go out at night and you're good.

Of course, there's also some sort of smaller music festival on the Marina Green (I think), the always packed Saturday Farmer's Market at the Ferry Building, and the big LitCrawl with hundreds of authors speaking all over venues in the City. Not to mention the usual shopping, competitive restaurant scene, theater, and sightseeing that will crowd the streets.

Me too!

I have never seen the Blue Angels perform except for the practice yesterday. I am going to hop on my bike and squeeze through traffic to watch them perform today. I'll be on my white stallion
