He was traded to the Rangers in July - he spent most of the year in Seattle.

Anyway, hoping for a good series, well played by all. I see it as a battle of Giants pitching vs. Ranger bats, and I don't look for Texas to be able to pound on the Giants like they did the Yankees...

That being said, the question that will have to be answered is if the Rangers do put runs on the board, will the Giants be able to keep up? It goes back to what the pitching staff allows.

About an hour ago, I dropped off four of my cousins from Dallas at the Rockridge BART station so they could go into the city to attend the game. I hope they don't get lost.

Making it back will depend on the level of postgame celebration or crying into adult beverage performed.

Since I LOVE San Francisco and I live in Texas, I am cheering for both teams!

TXGirl, you should get a custom Benji Molina jersey, that half is Giants and the other half is Rangers, since no matter who wins Benji gets a ring! lol

I'll be pulling for the Giants, I have nothing against the Rangers...but since the Giants have NYC roots, and play in a city I'd like to live in someday and being a NL fan, they get the nod.

In all honesty, I've never been into professional sports. I never watch it.

I have attended several TX Rangers games & one Dallas Cowboy game, a Houston Astro's game, but that it's not my thing.

The only sports I've ever been into were my children's sports. Oh, and when I ran track & cross country & played volleyball in Jr. high & high school.

So....this is the FIRST TIME I've ever been excited about a pro sports game!

I am actually going to watch it.....well, the TV will be on, but I won't be in front of it the whole time. But, I'll listen to it.
