That's awesome!

I was at the Civic Center in the City...Couldnt stay away-this is a long time coming for SF.

And it was uber convenient on BART from Rockridge.

I just watched KTVU for a while and they showed Chestnut Street, it was totally packed with people and they blocked traffic and a bunch of people got on top of two stopped Muni buses, LOL!!! It's really quiet here in Oakland but that's ok. I sure picked a time to move out of SF.
Well, I don't even have any Giants' gear so I wore my A's cap and didnt encounter any rudeness whatsoever in the City-LOL

I say let them have their moment-they finally deserve to celebrate!

Even the sports bars in Los Angeles were packed with cheering customers & that's amazing considering how much the Giants are hated here.

My wife and I were at ATnT park right after the win and just got home. The crowd just gets bigger and bigger even we left 2 hours later. What a great night to be part of? The crowd is crazy and very friendly.

Congrats SF Giants! Yes, I am a bandwagoner but a great way to start it. Now I got my LA Lakers and SF Giants to cheer for.

To EastBayDefecator and FootballGeeK, go suck on an egg will you?!?

LMAO... I'm a woman who doesn't care enough about sports to even know that, let alone to be called an "ingrate" for (jokingly) dissing the Padres. Honestly, I couldn't even remember who played in San Diego when I started typing that. Sheesh, some people take this game WAY too seriously!

And what ever happened to good sportsmanship? Would a simple "Good job, guys!" be so difficult?

So hey, if anybody happens to get an extra copy of tomorrow's Chronicle, this baseball fan in Seattle would love to have one!

San Francisco's last championship were the 49ers back in 1994-95. We needed this one!

SF and LA do not go together! I would stick to GS Warriors!
