That's why you live in the suburbs of Miami. Like everybody else does. I'm from FL and I would never live in Miami proper. Then again I would never live in Miami. I'm a Palm Beach County guy. But anyway I don't think Miami is worse than Oakland's ghetto self.

Uh maybe 20 years ago. Today they are paying like $10,000 a year for tuition alone, that is why so many students are protesting.

"This is no competition, if you want to die and get shot, stay in San Francisco. If you want to live in a tropical paradise with great beaches, go to Miami. It's really quite simple". LOL SO TRUE! CA residents can attend top UC school for practically nothing?! LOL no way students protesting and dropping out by a huge margin! Born and raised in the Bay never coming bacK! Hello Miami! Its boring here in SF too. If you live in the Bay area have fun doing the same things over and over again!

The Bay Area is OK, but really is very dirty and full of liberal extremists (and I'm a democrat!) that I can't stand. It's also only warm and sunny for only a few weeks each year. I loate fog and cool weather, and despite Miami's occasional cold snaps, I'd take warmer and more humid weather anyday over Bay Area crappy weather! Bay Area is pretty, but so is Miami, and you can actually use the beach there.
