I will be moving to Redwood City next week from Chicago (i know it was an urgent relocation)..I have a 6yr old kid and he goes to Montessori in Chicago..We are looking for good schools (private is also fine). Any suggestions on where to live/apts would also be great..I heard that Foster City is a very nice place to live..Please comment. If so, any good private schools where my kid can get admission.

Just commenting because we looked at a school but it did not fit our needs....
Pacific Rim is a montessori school not far from there in San Mateo.
They offer IB, which our child has been in for most of her education, but their
high school is still too small for us. However, their younger programs are more developed.

I am only familiar with private high schools, and ones that offer the international baccaleuarate so I am not sure about their 6 yr old program!
But their annual hs cost was in the high teens if I remember correctly.
