Try this:
1. set the dials on Mr. Peabody's Wayback Time Machine to 1967
2. pack a few clothes: bellbottoms, tie-dye shirts, platform shoes, etc.
3. push the "start" button and lite up a doobie for the ride (you're there in a flash)
4. step out of the Wayback into the "real neighborhood" of Haight Street into "deep conversation" and plenty "ethnic interaction"
5. when you are in the mood for "writer's" interaction, head cross town to City Lights and hook up with Alan and Lawrence
