Brent....I lived in the bay area for 20 something years and moved back east 7 years ago. We drove cross-country and took our time. People thought we were crazy, but I loved it. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Oh, and we had our then 3 and 4 year old sons with us. You're smart to do a lot when you're young and free, but life won't stop when you get married and have kids.

"Head 'em up, move 'em out!"...That's what my own dad used to say.

Kinda broke these days, but I still have no regrets, after everything I've seen.
That's amazing. How many people can say that? Life is about experiences anyway, not money. Kudos to you.

"The west is the best." I've lived in the western part of the US almost my whole life, and for years I took for granted the diversity and wealth of natural beauty we have. I'm only now slowly starting to appreciate it. Beaches, rugged coastlines, dense forests, deserts, red rocks, towering mountains, alpine lakes, canyons, etc...truly beautiful country.
