I felt pretty big here in Upper Dimond given that I'm right next to the Hayward Fault.

I'm 8 floors up in downtown SF. That really got my attention. Time to go home I think.

We felt the last one (at ~ 8:15 PM)! Scared one of my cats terribly.

That was a notch up the Mercalli here, vs the afternoon one. There was definitely a good S-wave with a significant low frequency component (e.g. perceptible shaking). So technically the earlier one was a foreshock. Quite unusual to have two shocks of this magnitude near the same epicenter in the same day.

Default quake

Well i missed the first one, but I felt the one a couple minutes ago. Here in Millbrae it kind of jostled a little and then a jolt, but over quick. My cats were woken from their naps, looked around and went back to sleep.

Just had another one here in West Oakland around 8:20 pm or so. Felt like the one we had this afternoon.

Whenever there's a quake I kinda like to turn on KRON because they always have a lot of news about it and have ordinary people calling in talking about what it was like. It's kind of comforting in a funny way.
