We have four children under 10 and would love to experience San Francisco. What's realistic? Are the BART trains doable, or should we drive around and have that be that? Thanks in advance!

Uh, depends on where you're going. BART is fine and easy to use but it only has one line through SF so you'll need to take Muni to get to some areas like Fisherman's Wharf or Golden Gate Park.

The main issue with driving in SF is that it can be hard to find street parking. There's parking garages all over the place but they're really expensive.

I don't think you will like the schools. There is a lottery system and children can be sent to schools across town into neighborhoods that might be sketchy. Siblings may end up going to different schools instead of the same school.

I'm a huge fan of City Pass: Official San Francisco CityPASS® | 5 San Francisco Attractions for $69

It does a good job of getting you to explore the city.

I'd also suggest the Zoo of course.
