Hi-

Is the easiest way to get between SFO and Alamo Park around midnight to 1am a cab? Are there any type of shuttle buses?

I'm concerned with how much it will cost. Anyone have an idea of how much a cab would be for that distance?

Thanks!

If you get a shared ride with SuperShuttle, it's only $17 from SFO to Alamo Park (at least according to the fare quote online with the zip code 94115).
I think a cab would cost a small fortune.
Here's a website that gives a rundown on what's available shuttle-wise:

A cab will be about $50 plus a tip.

Holy cow. That is expensive. It only costs 60 to go to Oakland from SFO. And that includes the toll. It is $65 via a car service even.

I'd bite the bullet and just take a cab, unless you can find a shuttle service that would take you that late. Best option is to take BART but they stop running around 12:30AM which is annoying, though it does drop you off quite a ways from Alamo Square.

Take the Samtrans 397 bus to the city, then take a cab from Mission in South Beach over to Alamo Square.

thanks for the tips!

I went with SuperShuttle. I'll post next week if this was the best route.
