Info on moving to the Bay area (Oakland, Alameda: how much, organic)

Before making a decision on an offer and move from Houston, I want to get some information on the Bay area (SF,Oakland,Alameda,....)
1. How much would an average single person spend on organic groceries/month?

2. SF bay area is considered libral, but how realistically do all ethnicities get along ( I am black if it makes any difference)?

3. How is the dating scene, do the hispanics /asians or others date blacks (not specifically looking for specific race or blacks, but if I happen to live in an area where these are more hispanic/asians than blacks)

Check out the Walnut Creek area. It has many nice communities and is still only 30 minutes from the City (SF).

It has great ambiance.

Organic food may run you $ 45-60/ week. It depends on your tastes. Lots of good local produce. Close to the Big Valley. Did you know that 75% of the World's almonds are grown in Califorrnia?

Bay Area is probably the most accepting of different races, ethnicities, and culture of the whole world. I think you will be happy.

Couple that with the terrific weather and it is a pretty darn nice place to live.
So much to do and see within easy driving distance.

I live in Oakland. You almost do a double take when you see a non interracial couple in some areas. Generally speaking it is not a problem.
