O'Reilly Factor investigates San Francisco values - YouTube

Love this about our city to be honest. But I think it is a bit overexagurated in this video.

Hahahahahahaha. Calling the Presidio unsafe at night? *snort* Well, yeah, you'd probably trip and fall.

Yeah, it's ridiculous, at least it is now. I don't know if things were different in 2008? The idea that nearly everyplace in the city is unsafe and full of dope fiends and freaks. Riiiight. I haven't actually seen any interesting freaks. The most common "type" I see is old Chinese ladies. And while they are pretty fierce and darn well aren't moving over for you, kid, they haven't otherwise been a big threat.

Step 1: Create a permanent economic underclass with 30 years of Reaganomics, offshored jobs and a destroyed education system.
Step 2: Complain about poor people and homeless people.

Good job Republicans!

Step 3: Create a major broadcasting network absolutely devoid of any recognizable tenets of journalism, to serve as the mouthpiece for the party propaganda.

Step 4: Exalt a fat bigot with a microphone.

We could have an appropriate response from Beach Blanket Babylon or the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, but it's just too easy.

Well other than the idiotic comment about Presidio he is pretty much right! He also overhyped the strip club and hooker presence because SF has less of it than many cities. I lived in Dallas, the buckle of the bible belt, and there are more strip clubs there than any other city I have ever been to.

The report is absolutely right on about street people and druggies and they do roam in packs around Haight/Hippie hill in GGP.

Made it seem dangerous. Not really true. Most just mind their own business.
