Hello!

I got a job in Menlo Park but having a hard time finding a nice, safe apartment to live.

Either its ghetto, expensive, or far from work

Please help.

Budget $1700 or less.

Studio or one bedroom.

At $1700 or less, look in nearby Redwood City.

That's a question for you to answer. The best way to do this is to check out padmapper.com or craigslist and see what's out there; then come back and ask more specific questions.

Okay. So i have called about 50+ apartment complexes all around menlo park. mountain view and redwood city.

Here is what i have noticed.
-too expensive
-dont offer 6 month lease
-unsafe/sketchy

The apartment like i liked and its not too bad on price ($1400) is Del Medio Park Apartments in Mountain View.

I am also considering on commuting from San Jose....my birthplace and hometown. The rent prices are staggeringly different!

I found this and loved it, but was wondering if anyone else knew about it

Atrium Garden Studio Apartments
1536 Kerley Drive San Jose, CA 95112

They are FURNISHED (safes me a LOT of money here) studio apartments for only $750.

I honestly will barely be scraping by with the $1400 in Mountain View...and thats not including utilities, cable, internet, etc.

Please help.
