We're moving to the area and are considering Redwood City. Preferably we'll both use the Caltrain, but can anyone tell me what the driving commute on the 101 is like between these two areas? Best case. Worse case.

There's little to no commute... at worst it's 25 minutes in the heat of rush hour and at best it's less than 10 minutes once you get onto the highway.

In the morning it's no big deal. In the evening it can get stacked up going through Palo Alto, but it's not a very long delay.

Andy, knowing the traffic conditions right now are of no use to me.

You see, I'm trying to decide whether living in Redwood City and commuting to Mountain View is realistic if I want a 30 minute or less morning and evening commute.
