Is it common to see black and hispanic couples in the Bay area?

Not as much as somewhere like New York (with its black & PR dynamic), but they exist, especially in places like East Oakland where they live side-by-side. You see pretty much every kind of interracial couple in the Bay Area.

good to know. I am from Houston and it is not uncommon to see those types of couples.

Yeah, in NYC it's more common. (I reference that because I'm in NYC right now and it's very common to see.)

However, it does happen as do other sorts of interracial couplings too, so it's not a complete shocker.

The Bay Area has the highest percentage of multiracial persons, households and families of any large metro region in the country, according to the 2010 Census.

Its definitely not uncommon to see biracial couples here.

Can't think of too many places that are more IR friendly than the Bay Area. Other places like San Diego and Seattle can compete but no where like the Bay Area.

.

It is the same here in Texas. I was just wondering if they exist in larger numbers than Texas.

The Bay Area has no shortage of interracial couples, including latino/black.
