Right now it is sunny, not a cloud in the sky, 76F with hardly a breeze. The air is clean (not quite 'I can see the Faralones' clean, but close enough). If that doesn't work for you that's fine with me - there are too many people here as it is!

Lol, I was waiting for someone to say that. I give it another 2-3 weeks at the most with current temps, then party's over....until....next October ;-)

Dude,

I've only been here for 48 years - I kind of know what to expect. Have fun in Miami or New York or wherever you were taking your whiny behind . . .

He actually never said that.

Beyond that, I have been to SF many times, and the weather and fog, in general, disappoint. It's depressing. Like I said before, I would never live there. Came close a couple of years ago, but couldn't do it.
Well, to quote a famous quote:

"Are you glad people who prefer Los Angeles to San Francisco live there?"

No, you are full of it. I LIVE here. I WAS here last september and it was not 59 degrees and gray. Sorry, that is so far off base for our typical September weather, which is the warmest month of the year. Sorry, you're full of it. Another.

Moderator cut: Personal attack - please calm down! RealAngeleno. Look for yourself. There was NOT ONE day in September 2006 that was below 62 degrees. There were only three days below 65 degress, and those were the last three days of the month.

If you further into October, there was one day where the temperature was below 60 degrees and only five below 65. The majority of October was in the 70s, with a few days in the low 80s.

Now let's go into November. More rain, yes, but only six days below 60 degrees, and those were six of the last seven days of the month.

So, as you can see the weather is not bad at all in September and October, and we have nice days in November as well. We even have warm (70 degree) days occassionally during the winter.

You can take this one to just about any other spot in the country and it still looks damn good. Last year the high temp was about 90. The low temp (overnight) was in the mid 30’s. The lowest high temp was about 47. The highest (overnight) low temp was about 65. And the humidity out here is negligible, and the rain almost never really gets in the way. If you want high heat combined with high humidity combined with cold winters, please apply elsewhere . . .
