I bet it is even worse. It can take an hour to go from Dublin to Tracy during commute hours. And Patterson is like timbuktu!

I knew someone who commuted from Roseville to San Jose. 140 miles, each way. He lasted 2 years before taking another job in the Sacramento area, and I'm sure he was looking that whole time.

It's about 10 miles south of the I-580 to I-5 merge in Tracy.

I only see Patterson or Tracy on road trips to SoCal.

If you are willing to do that commute, you would be willing to drive from Santa Rosa, Cotati, Novato, Vallejo, etc. You would find me out west, personally. I would live in a motel before I would do that commute.
