Don't knock the rain. CA desperately needs the precipitation.

National Weather Service says most urban parts of the Bay Area got less than one inch. 0.66 in SF. That's pretty decent for one day. We get about 60 days of rain per winter, with about 20 inches of rain. So that's an average of 0.33 inches per day of rain. This would be considered a pretty good day.

Current forecasts unfortunately said that the anticipated El Nino is not materializing, so we will likely see a dry winter overall. Let's take what we can get!

Tstieber, is this the NWS link you used?

National Weather Service - NWS San Francisco/Monterey Bay Area

I'm guessing that it might be, but if you've got a better online source, I hope you'll share it with us!
