Now *that* would be a transit system worth having!

Would we restore the original 90-90-90 plan (90 stations, 90 miles an hour, a train every 90 seconds)?

Orinda has a BART station and it is still a very desirable area.

I would like to see a line go through Alameda. With it's high density and a population of almost 80k plus more slated with the Alameda Point (old naval station) redevelopment, a station would do well. As a very walkable city, not being able to walk to BART is a detriment and a stop on the island would reduce bridge/tunnel traffic to Oakland. Currently, most Alameda BART riders drive to the BART stations in Oakland. That inconvenience alone is why the Transbay busses and ferries do well here.

Perhaps someday it could happen with another Transbay line.
